Cyril Desrosiers
Separated from his family during a horrible storm at sea, the barely surviving infant Au Ra washes up on a shoreline and is found by two very young orphan Viera boys.
The boys, Hyacinthus and Altair, are only able to find the baby's blanket, that has the name 'Cyril Desrosiers' embroidered into it.
They're not sure what to do with the baby, since to them he looked abandoned, but fearful of adults, they decide to do their best on their own. They struggle to care for themselves and an infant, especially with Altair being sickly, but Hyacinthus manages to pull through for all three of them.Once Cyril turned 8, the three boys started working together doing odd jobs for shelter, food and money.
During one of their jobs, Cyril noticed a bard performing and was entranced. He wasn't sure what the woman was playing or how, but he knew he wanted to do that too.
Cyril excitedly talked on and on about the beautiful sounds and sights he had seen that day, leading to Altair convincing Hyacinthus to help him get Cyril his very own instrument.
Upon receiving a violin from his brothers, Cyril more than excitedly taught himself how to play. He spent all of his free time teaching himself, he was so incredibly happy with the instrument.
Hyacinthus and Altair were very supportive, Hyacinthus learning how to dance to his music and Altair learning to sing so the three of them could all perform together.As they grew, they slowly became more focused on doing their shows, taking less odd jobs and looking for more places that they could perform, starting to travel around to get bigger audiences.
When Cyril was 20, Hyacinthus suddenly left. He didn't say goodbye, he didn't even give notice that he was planning to leave, he simply vanished one morning.
All that was left behind was a note that said he'd make sure they'd be okay, he loved them, and he would be back one day...

"Stay quiet, stay safe, and keep your brother safe." with a quick, soft kiss to each forehead, those were the last words he heard from his mother before she left them hidden in a tree trunk to lure away the danger that he did not yet understand.
6 year old twin Viera, one rather mature for their age, the other very weak and sickly...Hyacinthus grew up very quickly, not trusting adults to care for him or his twin brother. The young boy refused to rely on others for anything unless he worked for it, he would only take what he thought he earned so others couldn't use him owing them against him.

It was dark, and cold, the first thing he can recall...
Altair has always been a very ill child, he would cry a lot because he couldn't really do much else for a long time.
The little boy relied heavily on his twin brother for everything when they were little.
It wasn't till he was around 9 years old that he could walk around on his own without becoming very weak and feverish, though he was still very limited on how long he could go on his own.At 14 years old, he found an infant on the shore. Shocked, he yelled for his twin before running to the baby.
The little Au Ra couldn't have been more than a year or so old, and he had nothing but his diaper and a soaked blanket around him. Before Altair could take off his own clothes to wrap the baby, Hyacinthus knelt down, took the blanket off and wrapped his own shirt around the baby, bringing him against his chest to help warm him.

The young boys earliest memory has him already placed in the hands of bad men who would abuse and use him nearly daily.
He spent his early childhood in slavery, which resulted in his current muteness.
The young boy only held onto hope through the journal the bad men kept mentioning as being his parents treasure, his way to find them and get out. ...if they were even still alive.One day, the place the boy was being held was raided, and an Au Ra pirate named Valko Krydhaerz found the very small boy hidden away in a side room. Valko took him out of the building quickly, and took him onto his ship.
On that ship, Valko promised the young boy he'd recieve the best life he could offer him from there on out, and after a few weeks of allowing the boy to adjust, Valko gave the boy his new name, Vien'o, and offered to adopt him officially.
Valko became one of the sole people Vien'o can sometimes open up and talk to, his savior, his father.
When Vien'o turned 18, Valko gave him a journal, revealing it to be the one said to have been his parents. Vien'o was shocked to learn Valko had managed to find it, it was horribly damaged and barely anything was legible, but he could make out the end of a signature, "Saari"...
Under the hopes this was his parents surname, Vien'o took it as his own, and set out to become an adventurer, hoping to find his parents. Vien'o hoped to be able to find them, or even find traces of them, through his own searching or them finding him through the name.
